Introduction
DOM767 is a multi-functional platform providing news, announcements, events, directory listings, and job postings. My role in this project was to develop a custom child theme based on the Jannah theme, ensuring that the site is fully powered by the child theme’s functionalities.
Overview
I took charge of the entire theme development for DOM767, building a child theme from scratch using the Jannah theme as the foundation. The platform serves diverse needs, from publishing news and announcements to managing events and directory listings using the Eventon plugin. I also developed two custom plugins: a Favorites Plugin and a Review Plugin, which enhanced the user experience by allowing users to save their favorite listings and submit reviews.
What I Did
- Developed a custom child theme based on the Jannah theme, which powers the entire site.
- Integrated Eventon to manage event listings and directory features.
- Built two custom plugins: the Favorites Plugin and the Review Plugin.
